This was the first of my machines in which I used a programmable computer chip. It was an amusing challenge to make a computer closely control the brightness patterns of three lightbulbs. A motion detector is read by the computer which generates patterns of smoothly varying brightness to the bulbs.The patterns are an impressionist mimicry of light reflected off the surface of moving water.
